Is Plant Protein the Fountain of Youth?
Diets high in protein, particularly plant protein, have been linked to lower risks of developing diabetes, heart disease and stroke. However, regular consumption of protein-rich red meat and high intake of animal proteins has been linked to several health problems.1
Despite the research, there hasn’t been a definitive answer on which protein is better for longevity. That’s why I was intrigued by a massive new research review by Harvard scientists that finds a correlation between longevity and certain kinds of protein.
